As is to be expected I soon got tired of shooting
still shots and broke out my video camera. Here are some views of the
makeshift camera mount I created when nothing was available to get the
angle I wanted. The images record just the front ½ of the front tire, and
my camera system has 2 cameras I can mix or switch between. I’m in the
process of rigging a “safe” switcher control so that I can actually take
advantage of multiple mini-cams that I can place on the bike in various
spots and angles. I’ve been getting some great footage such as some fun
stuff on Lime Creek Road north of Austin, FM 1431 at the same place and a
lot of trips in Washington state. . . |

This shot shows another view of the camera mount, and
a bit of one of my favorite additions: the Wing Warmers. They allow me to
vent ALL the heat from the radiator onto me rather than out the side. We
don’t get much cold weather in Texas, but I ride 365 days a year
(sometimes even with ice on the ground) and when the cold weather comes
these babies pay for themselves real quick! |

I sold her:
