Cones needed for Motorcycle safety practice can be obtained from either Ayso Store or Garrett Diversified Services. These are the 2-inch high by 4-inch cones. They range from $0.85 to $1.75 each plus shipping and handling.

Everyone knows how important parking lot practice is, but all-to often they don't go out and do it because they don't know exactly how or what course exercises to set up.  Here courtesy of state of Idaho's web site are the basic exercises you'd go over in an ERC complete with diagrams and instructions on common mistakes.

Ideally you would want to be even MORE protected while practicing 'cutting edge' techniques in a parking lot but in reality heat and other factors such as the repetitive and exhausting nature of the effort belay that sentiment.  ALWAYS wear glove, helmet and protective shoes or boots, if cool enough wear a jacket if not make certain you have on a long-sleeve shirt.  Take sun-screen and water along with you too - several hours into the day you'll be glad you did!
