Check out my ‘new’ 92 CBR-600 F2 - named “Husk” after another of the fabled X-men.

Husk, like “Phoenix” owes her name to the X-Men comics, but the artwork for Husk, Phoenix and the “Chic” below left was done by Brandon McKinney, artist extraordinaire!

I always commission custom artwork to put on my bikes, so I don’t infringe on any copyrights.  Plus it lets ME set the tone for the bike . . .

I (as you can see) am not the most ergonomically correct shape for a CBR so to help I purchased some risers from:

http://www.zianet.com/GenMar/  These help a lot and are well-worth the $$ in my opinion.

The CBR is a great bike, although tiring after 200 miles or so, and apt to get you a ticket or run over in Dallas!  I have added a 'racing' rear since the picture above was taken and a tank bag.  I also put michellin Pilot Sports on and rebuilt the front forks with progressive springs and put a new "Euro" style shield & new mirrors on her.  Fun bike!  I had this bike with me in Seattle in the summer of 2000 and was able to enjoy many of the local roads on her. Drifting through a 35 MPH corner at 85+ is not legal on public streets so I'm NOT admitting having done so, but if I had I know it would have been a LOT of fun!
